Old Timers Reunion 2017

This is Joe Bernard Mounty from Canada. He and Jack McGibbons ran their cattle together all over lower SwanValley & Pine Creek bench. This was about 1887. They took over the Ross Brothers place which later became the Gus/Lloyd Jacobson ranch. All this was before the homesteading act took place & at that time it was free range. "It took me a while to find this picture of the Lodge. Terrie standing on pack horse Dad, Glenda and a friend standing. Tom and Marvin on the horses. I think we are headed home and had to have a snap shot of a great trip."
**be sure to enlarge this picture so you can see everyone. I love the littlest guy in the saddle**

The Swingin' Bridge

Larry Fleming has shared a picture of the Old Irwin footbridge in winter. Very cool!

Some of the comments to follow included:

"Contrary to popular belief Dora Daniels did not have a gun when she blocked the demolition of this footbridge." Michael Whisman
