This is Joe Bernard Mounty from Canada. He and Jack McGibbons ran their cattle together all over lower SwanValley & Pine Creek bench. This was about 1887. They took over the Ross Brothers place which later became the Gus/Lloyd Jacobson ranch. All this was before the homesteading act took place & at that time it was free range. Courtesy of Larry Fleming
