 THE LIFE OF 
DeLoy J (Buzz) Beasley and 
Donalene M (Doni) Jacobson Beasley
 
 
Buzz was born March 22, 1931 to James and Edna Summers Beasley in a tent at his grandfather Summers farm around Firth/ Shelley, Idaho.  He attended Shelley High School and was the class valedictorian his senior year.
 
Doni was born May 9, 1931 to Lathen W and Eva McKay Jacobson in Idaho Falls, ID.  She was raised in Irwin, Idaho and graduated from Idaho Falls High School.
 
On September 9, 1950 Buzz and Doni were married and Buzz was about to be drafted so he joined the Air Force as a radar technician.  He served in the Korean war. 
 
In 1954 Buzz started working for the INEL and Doni was the bookkeeper at Carrols Dress Shop.  In the 1960's Doni went to work for the City of Idaho Falls until she retired in 1982 to join Buzz at TMI, in Pennsylvania for the nuclear clean up.
 

They built their dream home on the bank of the Snake River in Irwin, Idaho in 1975 and called it "The River House".  They sold their home in Irwin and were living in Arizona in the winter and Jackson, Wyoming in the summer. 
 
They lived a great life together and were so much fun to be around. They did a lot of traveling, bowling, golfing, dancing, hiking, and making wine.   
 
Buzz passed away May 11, 2019 and Doni passed away on March 29, 2020.  They were married 68 years.  They had 2 children, Dirk Beasley and Debra (Deb) Beasley Bontecou.  They had two granddaughters and one great granddaughter.
